Presented by: JUNGLE BOULDER
Enjoy a fun, hands-on mixology class exploring the process of making hand-crafted cocktails while you follow along and make your own.
We’ve teamed up with JUNGLE to bring you an evening of cocktail mixology! You will be learning how to create 2 different tropical cocktails, one classic, one contemporary, both with no-alcohol options nonalcoholic! This class will have a focus on the history of “Tiki” and tropical cocktails and how different rum styles affect them. At the end, you leave with a booklet so that you can continue the mixology at home!
Along the way, join in on a lively and provocative debate discussing current architecture design issues with co-hosts David Barrett (Barrett Studio Architects) and Adam Wagoner from the Podcast Architect-ing.
- David Barrett founded his practice in 1977 with the intent of inventing a studio that brings creativity to projects of varying size, from large-scale master planning to the architecture of singular buildings, to the interiors with which we come into intimate contact. This love of design has always been coupled with an ethic of environmental stewardship. Over the years Barrett Studio has been recognized as just such a practice, establishing a legacy of sustainable, meaningful, and beautiful design.
- Adam Wagoner – Denver architect, educator and podcaster. Adam has a passion for connecting with other architects and learning from their experiences. Since moving to Colorado, he has worked to build an engaging network of local architects. In the midst of the 2020 pandemic shutdown, Adam decided to record these conversations and broadcast the stories of Colorado’s best designers with the goal of creating a stronger local community. That project became Achitect-ing, a local podcast with over 50 episodes and 8000 downloads.
This is a spirited, unique, interactive adults-only event you won’t want to miss! Lite bites (and the cocktails) included. All participants must be over the age of 21.
