The spaces we inhabit: How we shape them, how they shape us

These years of the COVID-19 pandemic have made us acutely aware of the spaces that we inhabit — how public spaces and the ways in which we relate in space shape our behavior and, conversely, how our ideas of safe spaces and distances influence the ways in which we organize and build the structures around us.

How can we shape spaces that, even when complete, are ever-evolving, delighting returning visitors again and again, who feel they both changed the place and are also changed themselves for having been there?

Join us for an evening of fast-paced storytelling and inspiration, Pecha Kucha style! The event will feature a series of presentations, each consisting of 20 slides shown for 20 seconds each, totaling a talking time of 6 minutes, 40 seconds. The presentations will center around the theme “SHAPING SPACE” where an interdisciplinary panel of Boulder’s design thinkers and practitioners will explore how  we are shaping the spaces we live in. The goal is to bring prominent and up-and-coming creative minds together for a night of inspiration, networking, and fun.

Lite bites and two drinks included.
