HONEY WOOD TONES

Rich and warm honey wood tones will be showing up more and more in 2018. These colors are placed perfectly in the color spectrum- light enough to give you the appearance of larger spaces and dark enough to give off a rich warmth from the darker tones. PAR-KER® Bolonia Cognac is a wood look porcelain tile that is part of the Bolonia Collection. This collection features a thin wood border paired with a neutral, stone center.

QUARTZITE

Quartzite is a metamorphic rock that stands out for its remarkable resistance to temperature changes. Made of almost 90% quartz, it is usually white, grey, black, pink or reddish in color, with some slight shade variation. Some of our most popular quartzite tiles are part of the Globe Brick series. This series contains stone mosaics that are available in a variety of colors. The matte finish on these pieces adds to the beauty of their natural elements, making them incredibly appealing.

SCULPTURAL FOCAL PIECES

Make a statement in your bathroom by turning your bathtub or sink into a piece of art. This trend combines function with style and is best delivered by natural stone pieces. With its inherent sculptural beauty, natural stone helps set a warm and inviting tone for a space. Both fashionable and unique, our FACES: STONE BATHTUB series enhances the pampering experience and creates a calming retreat within the comfort of your own home. The Faces bathtub was recently named one of Morpholio Board’s Products of the Year for 2018.

BACKLIGHTING

Backlighting is an easy way to control the mood of a room. Backlighting a mirror creates drama in your bathroom, as illustrated by the Pure backlit mirror (available in 2018). It is best to be selective when incorporating backlighting. Try to pick one element or area of a room that you want to focus on, and use your lighting to accentuate it. Using KRION® Solid Surface is an easy way to utilize this trend. Porcelanosa’s KRION® is a new generation solid surface that is warm to the touch and similar to natural stone. It is made of two-thirds natural minerals (ATH – aluminium trihydride) and a low percentage of high-resistance resins. This composition gives KRION® a number of exclusive features, including that it does not have any pores, is anti-bacterial without any type of additive, is highly resistant and easy to repair, only requires minimum maintenance, and is easy to clean.
