Inspired by natural beauty, Wandertree combines a love of nature and bohemian style with textures for the wall.

What is the story behind your latest designs?

Lately I have been working with both 100% cotton and 100% wool, mixing the two together and working with knots and weaving in the same piece. I have never worked off a traditional loom, I just started combining the two styles and I keep making larger pieces from the last, I love the challenge and the process of how it evolves.

When designing who is the person you have in mind?

When I’m designing I think of a person who loves texture, nature and a modern take on an organic style

What has been the most challenging thing when starting your own brand?

The most challenging thing about starting my own brand is knowing how to get my name and art out in the world for people to see it.

What is the most important thing you have learned about design and yourself since then?

The most important thing I have learned about design is to always keep evolving and growing so I can stay fulfilled and passionate about my art.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations?

For me it is more about what am I inspired by, not who…I am inspired by nature and things around me. I try not to compare myself with other artists in my field.

What would be your one piece of advice to anyone embarking into the design business?

Do what you are passionate about, and check in often to make sure you are on the path you want to be on and not what you think others think you should be on.

Any Shoutouts?

Shoutout to my husband who helps me so much, with heavy lifting, websites, and most importantly encouraging me to do what I love
